Area Manager José Pereira Promoted to Director of Operations

José Pereira joined Janitronics three years ago as an Area Manager, and we are proud to share that he was recently promoted to Director of Operations.

Like so many of Janitronics’ dedicated staff, José was recruited by a friend and longtime Janitronics employee. With over 35 years in the janitorial industry, he was a great addition to the team, quickly acclimating to the Janitronics way.

José was hired as an Area Manager to cover for other managers, and received his own buildings after just two weeks on the job. He eventually worked his way up to managing over eight buildings, a special service crew, and post-construction cleanup jobs.

Over the last three years, José has proven himself to be a valuable, dedicated member of the team. He continues to enhance his knowledge through professional development opportunities and regularly receives positive client feedback. When a Director of Operations role opened, José was a natural fit, even though he was surprised by his promotion.

In his new role, José will now oversee other area managers and multiple locations, including his own. As a Director of Operations, he is eager to continue elevating team culture, communication, and proactivity.

José credits his coworkers and management for continually supporting him, with a special appreciation for his manager, Luis Rodriguez. When José first joined the company, he felt an immediate sense of friendship from his fellow employees, as if he had been there a long time. That support and friendship have only enhanced over time, and he’s excited for this next step.
